5 out of 5 stars This book is only the tip of the iceberg...   January 20, 2006

I read some of these reviews on here, and I feel I must comment to a few of them. First of all, I work for Eddie Coleman's company. And there are very few authors of books out there that focus on this type of selling that do not own their company or at least work for a company that relates to what their book is about. I have read all of the book, and I do reference it whenever I discuss things pertaining to it with our clients. I am not a sales person so I do not try to sell the company or the book to people. But I do know that Eddie Coleman's system works. Way better than Cobalt, BZ Productions, and whoever else out there that thinks they have a foothold on the internet market. I have seen our customers go from a website that produces NOTHING (made of course by the most popular of the web designing companies out there) to a 500% increase in sales from what the book offers, what our company offers, what our websites offer, and what Eddie Coleman's training tactics offer. This book is the first step to the process of acquiring almost a million dollars of extra income per month for your dealership via the internet alone. Some dealers are able to take this book, read it, and use the knowledge to boost their profits. Some of them come to us after reading the book for our help. Some, like we have seen in these reviews, bash the book. That is all fine and dandy. Feel free to comment on things as you wish, but realize that this book DOES offer valuable information to increase your revenue as a dealer.

1 out of 5 stars A $30 advertisement, folks, that's it   January 3, 2006

I'm an experienced Internet sales director and I have to agree with the other reviewer that this book is nothing more than a thinly-veiled ad for Mr. Coleman's services. There were only a few useful nuggets of information dispersed throughout a 300-page diatribe of how effective his far-eastern, pschographic (?) principles of persuasion are. He even spends considerable time getting you ready for the explosion of business you will recieve once applying these principles to your department. Right. Very little, if any, actual instruction accompanies his psychobabble in this awkwardly organized book--I guess that's what we need to pay him for. Honestly, it's somewhat insulting. Save your money. BTW - one of these reviews HAD to be written by (or inspired by) the author himself.

5 out of 5 stars Good Job   October 5, 2005

Coleman did a good job. My name is Patrick Davis I have written two books on the subject of selling cars. And I read everyone as they hit the market. This book addressed planning, as well as sales communication, and fairly up to date technology for the time it was written in.

5 out of 5 stars Internet Manager Must Read.!! Zig & Hopkins X 10..!   August 29, 2005

As good as this guy is he really shouldn't be so modest about promoting himself. It seems like I've been through every training class in the industry including BZ Productions, Trevor, Cobalt and countless others. Now I think I know who all these people secretly revere as there master. I thought I was never going to find anything to help me actually sell cars. After all these people's training I went from 15 cars a month to about 17. 60 days after reading "Mastering The Art Of Selling Cars Online", I have went from selling 17 cars a month to pacing 43 cars a month with almost an additional $1,000.00 in gross profit per deal! This month I'll make over $30,000.00. I had a question on something in the book so I decided to try and call the author on the phone. I was able to reach him with relative ease even though I had to schedule a call with his staff. Mr. Coleman gave me all the time I needed to help me through my challenge and never charged me a dime nor tried to sell me anything. This guy is the real deal folks! He's got techniques that will blow your mind. As for me I'm going to talk to our dealer principle about engaging with Mr. Coleman and his company Hyperdrive Technologies Inc, located in Portland Oregon, on a more regular basis. I give this book 5 stars!

2 out of 5 stars Self-Promotion   July 8, 2005

Eddie Coleman completely uses this book to promote his Ad agency. He talks more about advertising than Mastery. One good statistic he uses is his conversion rate. Other than that, if you are not a DP, don't bother.
