Even though my Jetta is only 4 years old I neede a manual to be able to do simple work on her. This book is great and worth every penny we spent on it! It comes with the scamatics and everything. Much, much better than a Hanes Manual!!

This book has proven to be a valuable resource in keeping my Jetta in excellent running condition. If you own one of these cars and have any intention of doing the work on it yourself, you will need this book.
The obvious choice for the VW MKIV enthusiast March 26, 2008
This manual covers all makes and versions (aside from the R32) of the golf and jetta MKIV. Simple as that. And Amazon has the best price available by far!
 Better than the CD February 15, 2008
I have the Bentley CD for my Audi, and this for my Jetta. The book is easier to use, and has the big advantage of being portable. The material is detailed enough to review and repair your vehicle, although parts-swapping/upgrading is a little above the scope of this book.
Service Manual Review October 15, 2007
Authoratative resource. Pretty easy to find information that I've needed so far. Complete reference on systems management trouble codes. You will need a ODB-II scanner to get the trouble codes out though. Try your local auto parts store 1st though.
