Another splendid offering from Sir Peter Egan. Once again Egan has delivered a compilation of our favorite columns - this time from Road & Track magazine. Egan has the uncanny knack of capturing the essence of the open road and transforming it into the written word. The book is full of his tales and ancedotes of driving, restoration and racing. A brilliant book and a must for any automotive enthusiast.

Peter Egan the great has surpassed himself this time. What a book! It's funny, it talks about serious issues, and it's all about cars! I got this book for Christmas from my mom and read it over vacation. It had all the columns that I missed during the two years when I did not have a Road and Track Subscription.(The magazine where Egan's columns appear.) I especially liked the fact that he talks alot about his Jaguar E-Type, which is one of my favorite cars of all time, and also he's from good old Wisconsin! Would that there were more people like him in our state! Thank you, this has been my reality. Feel free to substitute your own.
