Product Description
Corvette C5 takes you on the newest 'Vette's wild roller coaster ride, through all the delays, near cancellations, budget battles, and interoffice struggles leading up to the car's January 1997 debut. A personal behind-the-scenes look at one of the most traumatic - and triumphant - production tales in Detroit history.

Corvette C5 November 30, 1999 46 out of 47 found this review helpful
This book is a historical look at the development of the Corvette C5. The people and the politics involved are the main subjects. The car is secondary. If you are interested in the car, its equipment or its options, this is not the book for you. There is very little written about the car. There are photographs of no more than four C5s in the whole book. There are wasted pages with photos of some of the Corvette's main competitors. I would rather have seen more photos of C5s. While the development story was somewhat interesting, in whole, I wanted to read more about the car itself.
