Customer Reviews: The number one resource for Cross Ram and JL8 information November 22, 2007 The original and still the best source for information related to the HD Off Road Chevrolet race equipment developed specifically for the 67-69 Camaro Book For Z/28 lovers November 25, 2001 4 out of 4 found this review helpful "Untold Secrets" is a misleading title... This book is all and only about Chevrolet's efforts in the old Trans-America road race series. As you may know, the desire to be competitive in Trans-Am led to Chevrolet developing the Z/28 option package in the first place. Hood induction, twin carburetion on the 302, chassis set up, and the famous JL-1 (SP?) four-wheel disk brakes are all covered in great detail. If your interest lies in the first generation Camaro OVERALL, then I'd skip this one. 1st gen Z car enthusiasts, however, will love this book.
