Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars A little brief but good   March 20, 2001

The book has already helped me with identifying my car and has a lot of info., but it does not have all of the RPO codes and some of the production #'s don't seem to match. A little more detail would have been nice. It's vague enough to scare me to trust it completely, but Antonick gives a warning about that too. I'm happy overall with the book and recommend it to camaro owners. It's not all of the answers, but good.

3 out of 5 stars A great source of information.   December 31, 1998

This book is full of great facts and information for decoding your Camaro's VIN and options. It even goes so far as to list prices for the listed options. I felt that the downfall of this book was the lack of production run numbers for each model. The Firebird Red Book contains this information, so I feel this book should also. Aside from this flaw, this can be a very helpful guide to the Camaro enthusiast.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent source for interpreting Camaro VIN "codes"   June 25, 1998

I carry this book with me whenever I am at a car show, swap meet, cruise night, or buying a Camaro. The book explains all of the codes found in VIN numbers as well as cowl tags and other places on a Camaro. You can tell true Z28's and other rare models from imposters. Helps in determining the origin of the Camaros Engine and other features. This book is a MUST HAVE for Camaro enthusiasts.
