| Editorial Reviews:
Book Description After World War II the use of Aerial bombing became a real threat. As technology advanced, so did the knowledge to advance the design and development of guided missiles. This book examines the progress of guided missiles in the US from the beginning of World War II into the 1970's, including several government reports that are now declassified.

A disappointment February 25, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The title is presumptuous. The book, although interesting in some parts, is no more than a collection of reminiscenses. It is a document for historians rather than a history, as the title implies. Some of the technical information is trivial, some of the drawings no more than mere illustrations. Needless to say, the price is short of a scandal.
