The description compares to a $40 kit that has software.
This leads one to believe that the cable would fully compare to the specified kit (i.e. include software). Just a wire is not a "kit".
Even if it states later that it is only a cable I do not like the way this product is advertised.
This is a sad way to do business. If it is just a cable then say it is just a cable. The added "software" is just a ploy and is misleading.
As a buyer I should not have to read every word. The title of the product should clearly state what is being offered.

I bought it for the cord. Great shape and works well. The CD, though, neither my roommate or I could get it to work.

Never received the item and the company had the nerve to ask for a tracking number before they would give me a refund. Hello- if there was a tracking number, I probably would have received the item. Amazon did provide refund. Will never order from this company again.
