5 out of 5 stars Forced Induction Performance Tuning   April 29, 2008

5 out of 5 stars good book to buy   January 24, 2008
i'm not going to write a long review. all i'm going to say is that i was a noob before i read this, and this book made me a very informed noob. i can carry good convos with people that have been tuning for 20 years, because i know what they are talking about. i wish the book talked about direct injection, because that is what i have on my mazdaspeed3, but oh well. if you are even considering buying a book about FI tuning, you should get this. the book talks A LOT about what it takes to make a good running FI car. ex.\ good design of headers. i wish it talked a little more about tuning, but if you read the book carefully, the tuning is scattered all throughout the book. it is a really good read, i put it in the bathroom and read it twice over 3 weeks. needless to say i have a sore a**, because i couldn't put the book down. BUY THIS NOW.

4 out of 5 stars just the facts, please   December 5, 2007
There are no pretty pictures in this book. Eye candy is not on the menu. This book is a step by step guide to turbocharging just as the cover says. The information here is honest and straight forward if a little dry. I am not giving it 5 stars because I like Eye candy to inspire me. This will probably be the book I use the most on this topic.

5 out of 5 stars Best engine book I've read.   October 30, 2007
I think this book is great. It is easy to understand and there are examples on how they did in the F1 turbo era and many sport and rallycars.
I have read more books by A Graham Bell and all of them are great. He writes about the tecnical aspects of how and why and what effects it will give. He gives a good understanding of all aspects of forced induction.
There are examples of how you can enhance your car if you want.
If you want a book that describes how forced induction works and go a little deeper then "more boost is better" this is the book for you.

5 out of 5 stars a boost for people that like boost   March 19, 2007

The book has a lot of information that is simple to use. it also has some more advanced sections that can help for bigger projects. I really liked how there was tips on how to do things that will save you time and money in your way to boosting your project. The book also does a good job in explaining how turbos and super chargers work and what to consider wen choosing a set up.
