 Great Companion Bible July 21, 2008
This little Bible is just the right size for purse & portability. It's the perfect companion to my study Bible that's entirely too bulky and heavy to take back & forth to Church. The only thing I'd change would be to enlarge the type, but then that would add to its size & weight, and therefore counterproductive to portability. I'd certainly recommend it highly, especiallly to ladies. It's probably better for a purse or briefcase - a little bulky for a pocket.

I love the size because it fits in my purse. Plus, I can read it even with the smaller print.
It is a great translation, a helpful resource for Bible study.

Overall a very nice product, very convenient size for carrying around, well-made, BUT the print is actually 8 1/4 point, a small font hard on eyes with imperfect vision. Otherwise would be a five-star item.

The product name is very misleading. I searched on large print and I bought a copy for a relative with vision problems, but the print is only about 9 point, far too tiny to be labelled as large print.

What a WELL MADE bible!! I had been looking for something like this in my local Christian literature store. NOTHING!I had read all the technical information on this translation in the hard bound volume reviews. I also did a search online about this version. I have read nothing but good about it. A pastor suggested this version for me since I did not like the newer renditions particularly because they had removed God's name from them.What an excellent buy!! I could not believe the quality for the price. It came very well packaged. Thank you Amazon for such an excellent product and for ending my quest for a good pocket version of the bible!
