Product Description
This fourth edition updates all Mustang specifications through 2004 models. The previous third edition ended with the 2000 model year. Since its introduction in 1964, the Mustang has remained one of the most popular and collectible cars. No other model has so embodied the spirit and excitement of the muscle era as Ford's original pony car. Key information such as prices, options, codes, serial numbers, VINs, and more are provided for each model ever produced. The appendix helps decipher date, district, rear axle, and transmission codes, and also explains how to interpret warranty plate and certification label information.

Mustang Information - A "Must Have" September 10, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is for any serious Mustang owner. The information contained in this book is accurate down to the last code. Before purchasing my last Mustang, I researched the VIN numbers against the seller's description and it was amazing what could be found out. It separates fact from fiction when making a monetary decision. You know what they say, "Knowledge is power". Highly recommended.
Average information August 15, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The book contains standard information on each model year, but nothing too unique as compared to all the other available guides. Would like to see current price estimates (e.g., NADA), and more detail on model build figures (e.g., Marti report information).
Good book, but a little disappointed March 28, 2005 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Since the Red Book is supposed to be THE reference book on the Mustang, I was a little disappointed. I recently purchased a 2000 Spring Special Edition Mustang GT Convertible. I was surprised that this option package was not mentioned at all in this book. Since I can't find any way to contact the publisher, I thought I would post something here, in hopes that they would see it.
