Product Description
A guidebook and suggestion book on how to save gasoline and strike back against Big Oil! Newly available from the author of "A Second Christmas!"

With tongue-in-cheek references to Karl Marx and his famous Manifesto, Nicholas Rand dusts off some old methods to save on gasoline in the New Recession that he learned during the Gasoline Shortage of the 1970's.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A great book, and an easy read.   May 15, 2008
Short of REVOLUTION, this book gives a lot of helpful advice in getting the most out of your petrol dollar. With a toung and cheek references to Marx, (I know, I didn't think that Marx had a funny side either) Mr. Rand pokes The Jolly Oil Giant in the gut and asks, "Why you so fat?!" Then he gives common sense steps that any one can do to reduce fuel cost. I was just kidding about Revolution, but a peaceful uprising wouldn't hurt. Write your congressman, and editors of your local paper. Call in to radio and cable call in programs. Email CNN, MSNBC, and your local station. Let them know how you feel. One of the main things we as a people have to do is get The Jolly Oil Giant out of our local Congressmans back pocket! Tell them, if they take money from big oil in any way shape or form, they won't have your vote. Realistically, with the demand in China and India ever increasing, The price of oil is never going to go down. The demand is to high. We need break the bonds that other countries have on our economy. Yes, I said OTHER COUNTRIES!! How did we win thw Cold War? We out-spent the U.S.S.R. Could it be that some of these other countries have taken a page out of our book and silently declared WAR on us? Perhaps, this is much bigger than we think!!
I digress, I enjoyed the book. I found myself laughing a few times too. It's worth the money! Really it is!
