Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Very introductory   August 24, 2008
This book should be advertised (either by the publisher or, perhaps, by Amazon), as a very basic introduction to fly fishing. Some of the "hints" in this book border on simplemindedness--e.g., wading disturbs the fish, be stealthy, a stronger tippet should be used for bigger fish, etc. I don't claim to be an expert fly angler (thus, I bought this book), but this product is/should be designed for someone who never flyfished before. In a sense, I felt as if I had been duped. Very disappointing.
