Some of the information was useful, if a bit dated. Most of the campsites were East coast locations and the one California site is closed. If you have backpacking skills and equipement (light weight, rugged, collapsible gear) and apply this information to motorcycle touring you probably don't need to buy this book.
For the dreamer, not doer, or for the amateur motorcyclist this book may be more interesting.

I really enjoyed this book. It help me with questions I had concerning camping on my bike. Cut the trail & error part of the lerning curve. I would recomend this book to anyone looking in to this subject.

I would recommend this book to anyone who looking into motorcycle camping. I found it to be interesting and informative, well worth the read. If you are a seasoned camper you might find it a little basic, but it was just what I was looking for. I haven't camped out for many years and was looking for a refresher course, and it filled the bill nicely.
