Product Description The New York Times bestselling sensation that's "Steel Magnolias set in Manhattan" (USA Today)-now in paperback.
Juggling the demands of her yarn shop and single-handedly raising a teenage daughter has made Georgia Walker grateful for her Friday Night Knitting Club. Her friends are happy to escape their lives too, even for just a few hours. But when Georgia's ex suddenly reappears, demanding a role in their daughter's life, her whole world is shattered.
Luckily, Georgia's friends are there, sharing their own tales of intimacy, heartbreak, and miracle making. And when the unthinkable happens, these women will discover that what they've created isn't just a knitting club: it's a sisterhood.

Disappointing... May 12, 2008 This book was recommended to me by a friend, and I was looking forward to reading it. Once started, however, I was very disappointed. Only one of the characters was likable and that was Anita. All the others kind of ran together, except of course for the main character, Georgia and her daughter Dakota. They were both unlikable and annoying. I didn't finish the book, I just found more interesting things to do, like clean the oven. Don't waste your money on this one.
Disappointing May 12, 2008 I was very disappointed in this book and sorry that I spent the money to buy it and the time to read it. The characters were flat and poorly developed and the story was disjointed and unbelievable. As another reviewer said, it was a good premise but the author was not able to make it work. Don't waste your time on this book.
A super read! May 11, 2008 I just truly enjoyed this book. I will be sharing it with my daughters and granddaughters. It is great relational reading.
Decent Beach Book May 11, 2008 This book was engaging enough if you are looking for light reading. The character development is rather simplistic despite some heavy subject matter. Not too deep, but a good beach read.
major dissapointment May 10, 2008 I always have to finish any book I begin...this one was difficult to finish. Really wanted to like it.
