4 out of 5 stars excellent   September 30, 2008
The book is in wonderful condition, no damaged, ripped, missing, or torn pages. Even the cover is in excellent condition.

4 out of 5 stars Cpt 208   September 13, 2008
Required for many cpt classes, good refrence. Though many of these sellers are overpricing this book, this version will be outdated at the end of sept. Do not pay more than $100 for this book. You can get the new version for about $120(includes shipping) at the AMA website

Although this book is updated twice a year, a true Coding Specialist can not work without it. It's important to renew you coding guide according to the AMA and CMS.

The bCPT 2008 book I received was in excellent shape. Just as ad stated "like new".

CPT 2008 Professional Edition (Cpt / Current Procedural Terminology (Professional Edition))
This book is the required text for a CPT coding class I am taking. CPT seems to be more straightforward than ICD-9, so the index seems easier to use than, say, the indexes in the ICD-9-CM 2008 Professional for Hospitals (Icd-9-Cm Professional for Hospitals) text. The various sections of the CPT book are color-coded with thumb-notch tabs cut into the edges of the pages. Even if you do not have a coding handbook, the instructions in the front of the CPT book are fairly easy to understand and use.

The only problem I have is that I've creased pages more often with the CPT book than I did with the ICD-9 book. I just ASSumed it was the spiral binding and/or weight of the papes, but more than likely, it could be operator error.
