Excellent undergrade/P.E. review book. Book focuses on problem solving techniques rather than theory. Lots of practice problems are given at the end of each chapter - answers to selected problems at end of book.

This is the best textbook that I have used as an undergraduate student. The book is clear and concise. To all civil engineering students specializing is structural design, this is a must have book. If your school doesn't require it, you should buy it as a reference. It is this good.Jim
