 Awesome traditional hot rod art photography March 21, 2005
Don't know how to describe it. Picked up the book and took a look at all the great B&W photos and had to have it! Like another reviewer said: "Cars, shops, Bonneville" - it's all here. Maybe second only to Peter Vincent's book, but his is 3x the size (and price). Every photo in this book has got SOUL! Words don't do it justice.

This book has some definite positives, but it's heavy on the (moody) photographs and light on anything else. All b&w and self-conciously "arty." As you can see above, 3 stars out of 5.

If you like the american way of hot roddind this pictorial is THE BOOK! it has everything from shops to cars to bonniville.... IT ROCKS

Although I wish there was more text, the great photos give you a pretty good idea about the gear heads, the drivers, the races, and those incredible salt flats.
