Editorial Reviews:

Product Description

Recognized as a spontaneous and exciting process, monoprinting is also effective, convenient, and does not necessarily require a press. Only one strong impression can be taken, hence the term monoprint. Here, the authors show how to push the boundaries of monoprinting with various techniques, showing the unique possibilities and showcasing work from around the world.

Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Unclear and confusing   April 25, 2008

A hodge-podge of techniques, none of which are explained fully. There isn't one sequence of how-to-do-it pictures. Instead, the authors provide written instructions that test the limits of understanding. I'm an experienced printmaker, but this book was a mystery to me.
