Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars It's alright...   February 26, 2008
The manual is okay, although not very detailed.
Some projects are even missing steps (replace the thermostat: they make it looks like it's no big deal, and it's probably not, but they don't say it's almost necessary to remove the throttle body to have better acces to the thermostat housing). Since it is a general manual it doesn't have details for each model of car that are covered.
However, it has interesting informations about maintenance etc.
The black and white pictures are fairly good, but a little color would have been even better.

I think it is an okay manual for the experienced 'Do-it-yourselfer' with several hours (years?) of backyard mechanic behind him.
For the beginner do-it-yourselfer (me), it may be a little challenging.

With all that being said, this book is probably a good buy, especially for the price.
