Product Description
Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

2 out of 5 stars Really Edward?.....Really?   September 30, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

First of all, I would like to preface this review with a concession (so two stars). I really did like the first book and I had high hopes that the characters would grow and mature. Much to my dismay they did not, well one in particular. Bella. She is still the careless, mealy-mouthed, weak kneed, swooning, defensless complainer that I remember from book 1. I have a hard time believing that a 100+ year old vampire would put up with her sucky attitude. I wanted to bite her in the neck and end it! In the last 2 books she was playing poor Jacob for the fool. First for information, and then using him so she could kill herself on a motorcycle (Which, I won't even get into that when one min. she's described as selfless in keeping Charlie and Renee happy, but then shes going to kill herself?) and then she's considering ruining Jacobs life and marrying him as a backup plan while hopelessly swooning from Edwards departure, She was using this poor 15 year old boy. And now that I've finished this book I think that I can add the word 'manipulative' to the list of Bella adj. As much as Edward and Jacob are fighting over her she was fanning the flames herself. Come on, if you are MADLY in love with someone do you go behind their back and against their wishes to see another man? And then run home and complain to them when you were kissed by that confused boy? "I don't want you to fight, because I love you....but he kissed me" And then she starts telling Edward that she may be in love with Jacob???!!!! Arrrggggg! I won't be reading the next book. Teenagers: Don't play men like this! Trust me, it won't end well for you!

5 out of 5 stars Great Order!   September 29, 2008
This was a great order. It was just what I wanted and it came very nicely packaged. The item had no dents, scratches or anything else in it, which made me very happy. It was just like the page said it would be. Great buy!

5 out of 5 stars Great Book   September 29, 2008
This book was bought for my 15 year daughter and she loves the whole collection. She has read all the books and would recommend them to everyone.

2 out of 5 stars Not nearly as good as the first two...   September 29, 2008
I am a huge fan of the Twilight series but this book was a real disappointment. I didn't mind the lack of action; in fact, I liked that she focused on the relationship of Bella and Edward more. I also liked that Bella does start to realize the magnitude of becoming a vamp. You get some more background stories on the rest of the Cullens too, and on the werewolves. Now the bad... Bella does get really annoying in this book. Are we really just supposed to swallow that after all the professing of her intense love for Edward that she could ever possibly feel the same (or close) for Jacob? And I felt that both Jacob and Edward's characters were out of whack in this one. I ended up hating Jacob for being so pushy and mad at Edward for being so nice and understanding. But if you love the series like I do you have to read this one too. The irritating stuff doesn't really happen until near the end anyway!

5 out of 5 stars Loved it!   September 29, 2008
If you've been reading this series and loving it, this book will not disappoint! Happy reading!
