5 out of 5 stars FP review   May 31, 2008

Hi,
I had taken a 5 year sabbatical from Medicine (Boarded in ER and FP) so I had to take the SPEX as well as the FP Boards, and along with online CME sites, I primarily used this book - I took notes, then took "notes on my notes" - so I basically knew it backwards and forwards (I went through it 3 times). Not only did I EASILY pass the SPEX, but the FP Boards as well. I now find that being back in Medicine, just with doing this, I am well ahead of most of my practicing collegues. I found this a GREAT resource and would highly reccomend it!

4 out of 5 stars helped with boards   July 30, 2007

My scores are not back yet, but I can already tell that this review book helped. There were questions in there that reviewed things that I don't think I had learned previously that were asked on the test.

2 out of 5 stars If the test is anything like this good luck   July 20, 2007

The questions are convoluted like another reviewer states.
If you memorize the book, you'll be in good shape. These
obstruse answers are stupid and have no application to the
real world. The straight forward questions will be recognized by all. If the test is like Bratton's one
might stand a chance. God save family practice it it's anything like this.
