Product Description Constructed around a series of late night conversations around a camp fire between Cheryl Simone and Sadhguru Vasudev on an Island in the middle of a Western North Carolina lake near her mountain home, Midnights with the Mystic is the most thorough exposition of the teachings of India's most sought after mystic. Sadhguru challenges us to embrace the possibility that to each of us is available a higher realm of reality, a peak of consciousness; an entree into the realm of freedom and bliss. Concrete and down-to-earth, Midnights with the Mystic both provides readers with an introduction to profound spiritual teaching and a personal glimpse of a charismatic guru.

Midnights with the Mystic: A Little Guide to Freedom and Bliss July 7, 2008 This book is so simple in its approach and yet so powerful. It answers the many questions that a seeker of spirituality has while at the same time it brings hope to the many who were somehow always made to think that liberation from one's bondage was only available to a few. This book can truly change the way you think and the way you exist in this world.
A gem July 7, 2008 As I was walking out of the metro, this book caught my eye on a flier. Sadhguru was in town that day to talk about the book! I knew about him in passing but had never heard him in person. Since I am always looking for books like these, I went to the talk to see what this was all about. I'm so glad I did! I bought the book that night and once I started, couldn't put it down. Cheryl asked so many of the questions that I've had for a long time. Sadhguru's answers were direct, clear and easy to understand. I have ordered his other books and can't wait to read them!
Midnights with the Mystic July 7, 2008 In Midnights with the Mystic some of the most profound concepts about our nature as human beings are addressed in clear straight-forward language. After reading it I find myself referring back to it time and again for little bits of understanding and inspiration. This is truth spoken by an enlightened master. A must read for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of life.
The real thing July 7, 2008 A friend suggested I read this book. I was skeptical of anything related to spirituality since it seems to be a fad here in the US. But I took my friend's advice anyway. And it's a good thing that I did too. Why, you ask? Well, it looks like this Sadhguru may be the real thing. One of the things that impressed me was how clearly Sadhguru explained things. No mumbo jumbo, no belief systems, just good sense. I'm trying to find one blurb that exemplifies what I mean, but I can't. There's just so much in this book. I think the best I can do is this (loose paraphrase): only when your internal condition is your decision, independent of what's happening externally, are you free. I like that. I need to see if it's possible for me, cause it sounds like a cure for all stress. I'm definitely going to check out Sadhguru in person, maybe one of his yoga classes!
I was touched by Sadhguru's words July 7, 2008 Cheryl Simone and I share some of the same questions. I had a feeling Sadhguru was speaking to me.
