Priceless study aid! July 19, 2008 This comprehensive book is packed is with easy to follow instructional material for grasping the Spanish language. highly recommended!
Great series June 14, 2008 I highly recommend getting all three books in this series as they work really well together. I wasn't getting anywhere with the Rosetta Stone package. These books fill in the grammer and usage gaps and I am now understanding what I was learning in RS.
An excellent reference book with exhaustive exercises May 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great reference grammar book, excellent for beginners and intermediate students of the spanish language, covering all aspects of prepositions and pronouns with numerous examples covering all types of usage. Very useful and thorough exercises in both languages, that if you manage to complete them all, you become a master of the subject. This book along with the one covering verb tenses are the top best that I could find to assist me in my spanish classes.
Excellent! April 27, 2008 This book is the single most helpful book I have found for learning Spanish. The topics are well-organized and clearly explained and the practice exercises are really effective. I can't recommend this book highly enough.
This book does assume that you have some knowledge of Spanish vocabulary, so it probably isn't for beginners. To build up your vocabulary beforehand, I recommend Flash Cards.
I recommend this book to all my students March 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3AP7FQWXZZ1J8 Although I recommend this product to all my students, you will get the most out of it if you are an intermediate or an advanced student. If you are truly an intermediate/advanced student, I am listing what I consider some of the top learning-Spanish resources for learners who are seeking complete fluency. You can use the following courses with this book and really see your Spanish take off.
Learning Like Crazy Spoken Spanish, Vol. 2 This is my favorite for intermediate and advanced students. This is only for students that are unquestionably intermediate or advanced students. How do you know if you are truly an intermediate or advanced student as opposed to an upper-level beginner student? Here's an easy test: Watch the "novelas" and if you can understand 50% of what is being said then you are probably an intermediate or advanced learner of Spanish. If you are having a lot of difficulty understanding what is being said, then you may want to start with the first level of this course: Learning Spanish Like Crazy: Spoken Spanish, Vol. 1 (2 volume set)
What like most about the Learning Spanish Like Crazy series is that it uses a method that really helps improve your Spanish-sounding accent while at the same time teaching you how to speak real Latin American Spanish.
Immersionplus Spanish Complete: The Final Step to Fluency! (Immersionplus(tm) Audio Series) This is one of my favorites. You can also watch my video review that I did here at Amazon of Immersionplus Spanish Complete: The Final Step to Fluency! (Immersionplus(tm) Audio Series) There are two things that really stand out about this product. One is the content. There's lots of it. And the other is the price tag. It is very inexpensive and it well worth the price.
Read and Think Spanish (Book +1 Audio CD) This is another terrific product. It is a book that consists of articles in Spanish about different Latin American countries. The book comes with a CD. Both the book and the CD do not come with an English translation. The CD also does NOT have a slowed down track to listen to. So you have to be a real intermediate or advanced student to use this book and CD successfully.
