| Editorial Reviews:
Book Description Audi has a long, varied and fascinating history from the design of pioneering vehicles in the early 1900s to the mass production of the outstanding saloon and sports cars for which the company is so well known today. This book fully illustrates the Audi story with rare photographs from the author's own collection and from the Audi archive in Germany. The sometimes confusing story of the companies that have been combined within Audi is clearly told. Included are memorable shots of the company's racing tradition, from the Auto Unions of the 1930s to the Audi Quattros of the 1980s. An expert text accompanies the pictures, and there is a detailed chronology of the models the company has produced over the last 80 years. The book will be essential reading and reference for Audi enthusiasts and for all those who want to learn more about an important aspect of motoring history.

a fantastic history for all audi enthusists September 5, 1999 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
I loved the history, the photos and the journey from start to present. I noticed the author, Paul Harris, is also the editor of "Audi Driver", but haven't been able to find any information on this publication. I would love to get my hands on that one!! I recommend this book to anyone who loves Audi's as much as I do.
