Product Description
Reawaken the passion behind Packard with Automobile Quarterly by appreciating the astute Packard cars, from an 1899 Model A to a 1956 Caribbean. The cars tell the story of the company; color photography and careful research tell the story of each car. The respect commanded by the Packard name has never waned. To see Packard cars in close detail and to know the stories surrounding them is to know why.

Great Photography June 17, 2008 Great Photography - The Packard story told from the perspective of who owned the featured cars.
A nice addition to a Packard book collection... August 18, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
....The Kimes book is THE authoritative source on the Packard, the James Ward book covers the sad demise of the Company...and this book nicely illustrates some of the surviving examples, from #1, thru the end. Not offering any history of the Company, it is nonetheless beautifully illustrated and very effective at capturing the grace, elegance, and timelessness of the marque, while also adding some interesting (if largely irrelevant) historical anecdotes of each car and it's particular history. A nice companion piece!
Ask the Man who Owns a Lot of Packard Books May 16, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is an interesting book, but not for one who's looking for a detailed background on the Packard Motor Company. What the author has done is highlight some extant Packards and that car's history. The pictures are excellent, the brief backgrounds concise and informative.
I gave it 4 stars because it is a relatively small book, and of narrow focus. However, if you have a large collection of Packard books, this one fills a unique niche, and makes a nice addition to one's library of antique car books.
