Description In this volume of the highly acclaimed Best Motoring International series, the natural question of car enthusiasts around the world is investigated. Which car is really the fastest amongst production cars? Is the new Porsche 911 Turbo really invincible? Its biggest rival, 360 Modena challenges the Turbo along with JDM Super Sports and the American muscle car Corvette Z51. Also witness the Nismo-prepped Skyline appearing in the Battle for the first time. Don't miss the exclusive test report on the new generation Civic Type R straight from France.

Good Fun Video November 29, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The video is English over Japanese with script. But good footage and some good driving. Probably OK for the price.
Best Motoring - Porsche 996 Turbo The King November 9, 2007 Another Best Motoring DVD, one of many good dvd's. The Porsche 996 Turbo vs al lot of other cars for testing how good this car realy is. Civic Type R testing in France.
My favorite Best Motoring video thus far! March 18, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
So far I have VTEC Club, Type-R Legend, Drift Bible, and 996 Turbo in my BMI collection and 996 Turbo is easily my favorite. Aside from the fact that it features extensive battling between two of my all-time favorite sports cars, the Porsche 911 Turbo (996) and Ferrari 360 Modena, it's simply an informative, high quality, and agressive DVD. It doesn't waste any time with anything boring but rather starts right up with Keiichi Tsuchiya sliding the 996 around a touge and moves on to gymkhana (skidpad) tests, drag races, vehicle tech, and two uncut track battles with more competition thrown in. Instead of needing to be a tuner enthusiast or a Honda fan like you need to be to fully appreciate a lot of BMI releases, you simply need to love cars to appreciate what this DVD offers. Well worth the price!
Technical and track analysis of the 996TT July 15, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Best Motoring explains technical stuff about the Porsche 996 twin turbo in a very detailed and interesting way
Then they race the car against other super cars in a track in Japan
Very impressive comparison and it shows the true potential of such fine automobile
excellent overall for the 996 turbo enthuasist July 5, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
a little off-putting at first becasue this DVD is actually Japanese and the voice is dubbed over in English, but after a few minutes it doesn't matter and it's a good show with excellent racing footage at the end against a Modena, Corvette, GTR etc. If your a 996 turbo enthuasist then you will highly enjoy this DVD.
