I'm really not a VW or Buggy fan, but this book has some really neat VW based buggies in it, and is definitely a good conversation starter. I actually purchased this because I had bought an oddball buggy out of someone's garage and was trying to identify it (and yes, it was in the book).
The pictures and descriptions are very nice, short enough to not make a novel out of every selection, but enough detail to provide some interesting facts.
It's also great for inspiration if you're building a custom buggy. It gives you an idea of what's been done, and what an idea you may already have may look like when it's completed.

The first book on dune buggies I've bought and I thoroughly enjoyed it.This is a factual book on dune buggies and one of many written by author James Hale.This book covers the various designs of dune buggies throughout the years.Plenty of photos and text throughout.
