Product Description The first page of Joel C. Rosenberg's first thriller, The Last Jihad, put listeners inside the cockpit of a hijacked jet, coming in on a kamikaze attack into an American city...but it was written nine months before September 11, 2001. As Jihad unfolds, an American president finds himself in a war with Saddam Hussein over terrorism and weapons of mass destruction...but it was published five months before the actual war with Iraq began.
Rosenbergs second novel, The Last Days, opens with the death of Yasser Arafat and an American president pressing for peace in the Middle East...but it was published thirteen months before the actual death of Yasser Arafat.
Now comes The Ezekiel Option, an explosive new political thriller that literally feels ripped from tomorrows headlines.
With Saddam Hussein and Yasser Arafat out of the way, a dazzling era of security and prosperity seems to have come to the Middle East. With the help of an American president trying to spread freedom and democracy, the Israelis and the Palestinians have signed a historic peace agreement. Violence is down. Their economies are booming.
But a new evil looms on the horizon. A dictator is rising in Russia. Iran is feverishly building nuclear weapons. A new Axis of Evil is emerging, led by Moscow and Tehran. And Jon Bennett and Erin McCoy two senior White House advisors find themselves facing the most chilling question of their lives: Is the world rushing to the brink of an apocalypse prophesied more than 2,500 years ago?

Another exciting political thriller October 1, 2008 I couldn't lay this book down. It is so relevant to what is happening in the mid-East.
good book September 25, 2008 Good book - evil is present as in the other books but tends more toward the miraculous at the end.
Great!!! August 16, 2008 Another great book using religious texts to provide wonderful insight into what may be going on in the world. Many of the fictional events have become actual reality!
This series is AMAZING!!! June 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
WOW! If I had to choose one word to describe this book that one would be it. I will admit that I was slightly disappointed at the beginning of this book because it seemed that it was going to follow the format of #2. Meaning: a little too much talking and explaining and not enough action. While there was a bit of that in the beginning it quickly passed and this book took on a whole new life. Since this book has been out for a while I could care less about me throwing spoilers out there.
I had no idea this book would take the turn that it did! The ending when Russia was destroyed and Israel was saved was simply breathtaking and amazing! This book was emotional on so many levels. It was emotional on the level that you really cared for the characters. Emotional on the level that you really wanted to see the evil Nations blown the heck up. Emotional on the level that would God really step in and cause the prophecy to be true? Emotional on the level that holy crap, he REALLY did step in and cause the prophecy to come true. Emotional that Christians around the world and in times past didnt suffer in vain and that there is a paradise waiting for us in the not so distant future. Emotional on the level that we know that evil WILL be obliterated and that payback coming and when it does its going to come H.A.R.D.!!
This book did take a much more religious turn than his last ones and makes you wonder about God. Not change your mind about God but wonder about him. If your faith can be shaken by a fictional book then you need to reevaluate your faith (Da Vinci Code haters) But this book raises some very good questions, issues, and would be a perfect book for a discussion especially now since a lot of people believe we ARE in the last days.
This book ended on a pretty hard exclamation mark and Im really, really tempted to get the next one tonight! Usually I try and read a book in between but I simply have to know what happens next. Dont be like me and wait to read this series yall. It simply is too good to keep passing up.
Dramatic, Believable, Compelling May 9, 2008 The centerpiece of Joel Rosenberg's 5-book series, the Ezekiel Option weaves a very credible story that shows just how quickly--and how easily--geopolitical events could culminate in the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies that foretell a war against Israel ultimately won by God Himself. Great, great reading. I can't recommend it more highly!
