What a great way to reignite the flames in your marriage. I am spending a week on each day...more opportunities to apply it. I would recommend it to any married couple...whether happily married or struggling.

If you've found that you're selfish in your marriage and that you didn't allow the Lord to direct your marriage... this is a good tool to become humble and let the Lord's light shine in your marriage.

Love can be a difficult thing to give, and The Love Dare is an excellent tool that can aid the process of advancing a desire to give love in the best way possible. Practicing the daily devotionals in action according to The Love Dare directions in a God/Chirst/Holy Spirit centered way makes the truth of love shine forth, and the inner workings of man and woman mature. I also think the tool can be used in the context of other relationships, such as loving people who are difficult to love who are not spouses or loving children for those who are parents (with minor adjustments to accommodate the context), and/or for helping people to be generally plain old loving. However, I know that The Love Dare's primary purpose is to help husband's and wives improve, and sometimes save (as displayed in the movie FireProof)their marriages. May God demonstrate His power in the culture war for preserving marital love between a man and a women. Thank you Stephen and Alex Kendrick for sharing your journal with us, and for daring us to dare to love God's way!
