Product Description
Any deep cycle 12v battery can be trickled charged with this unit. Just needs adequate sunlight, will work with cloud cover. No type of controller is needed, this unit will not overcharge a 12v deep cycle battery. NOTE: If you mount panel on permanent surface, place a heat resistant spacer between panel and surface. Like a piece of insulation, foam, plastic, anything really except for wood. If you need to extend the wire. you may add on up to 29 feet with 16 gauge wire. Or you check voltage with a meter, do not be alarmed if it measures up to 28 volts in high sunlight.The internal diodes will not allow overcharging or even battery drain when shut out. They will store and prevent overcharging both.
