 Piece of wood might work just as well August 14, 2008
We tried this because the Swagman bike rack we have was quite wobbly. This helped a little but I think a piece of wood or a shim might have worked just as well.

Great product that does what it is intended to do. We use it on a Swagman bike carrier and it secures the carrier to a rock solid fit.
