 Works, and works well August 19, 2008
Good product at a fair price. Has multiple sharp edges, I wouldn't want to stand on this puppy in bare feet :) Held up a 180 lb guy loading 50 lb bags into a cargo carrier, with aplomb. Adjustable height is nice, folds up and fits under the third row of the SUV. Only downside is sharp platform (so you dont slip off, a good thing), and some sharp edges. Would buy again.

I recently purchased a heavy duty pickup truck and it is taller than my husband's truck. It was difficult for me to reach into the bed of the truck without opening the tailgate and climbing in. This was even more of a problem whenever I needed to hook up my gooseneck horse trailer, so I decided to purchase a tire step. It has definitely eliminated my problem of accessing my truck bed. It fits very securely over the tire and the tread on the step assures you that you won't slip off. It folds up fairly compactly, so I keep the step in the back of my truck cab behind the seat so it is there whenever I need it. It is a little heavy, and you have to watch your fingers when you open & close it, but this product is definitely handy to have.
