For any Ford Focus owner that has problems with the ignition key, this
is the product for you! Ignition cylinder failure is very common with
the Ford Focus, and dealerships will charge upwards of $400.00 to
repair a faulty ignition. The original ignition cylinder design is
a piece of garbage and prone to failure. The Motorcraft SW6285 is a
new design and will not fail as the original does. A full set of
tumblers is included, with instructions on how to set the cylinder
tumblers to your key. I was easily able to set the tumblers to my key
in about 30 minutes. Even at $100 this would be a deal, but Amazon sells
this part at a 35% discount.
