Nice Light June 19, 2008 These lights are nice for what they are. Do note, however, that the lights definitely have a blue color, not white. We had purchased them to put in our glass front (and shelved) kitchen cabinets but they are not going to work because they make everything in the cabinet blue. We'll find another purpose for them I guess.
3 -pack, I just needed 2 April 7, 2008 They work great in the car, I put them up as reading lights. You push the center to turn them on and off. They take AAA batteries also. The adhesive tape isn't great. Industrial Velcro works best. Last problem, I have one extra just lying around, I wish they came in 2 packs.
Nice Lights, Nice Price February 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These lights are pretty nice overall. My only complaint is that the connection of the main light unit to the base (the part that sticks to the surface you're attaching the light to) is a little flimsy. Overall I would say this is a quality product that will certainly do the job for lighting cabinets, closets, etc.
Nice little lights! October 10, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As the other reviews indicated, these lights are very bright for their size. I had the old dome touchlights, and they drained batteries very quickly while emitting very low light. The new LED lights are a vast improvement. I can actually find items in my small closet now. I have only one complaint. One of the lights does not turn off completely, so the batteries will probably drain faster than the others.
Light is good, but ... August 12, 2007 5 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought 6-pack version, which appears to have the same light, so my review should apply to the 3-pack as well.
I needed lights to stick on the mirror of a cabinet and some other places. So, I read and re-read the description of this item: (* A great way to provide lighting ... * Light swivels 360 and pivots 30 ... * 5 bright white LEDs last up to 100,000 hrs. * 3 AAA batteries required ...)
But can the light stick to a mirror? How big it is? How heavy it is? They mention shipping weight, but not individual items weight and size. This is what makes online shopping so frustrating - you cannot see or touch the product and lazy vendors and lazy Amazon don't bother to provide adequate description. Luckily, the same light also sold in 3-pack package, which has completely different description, which includes "Includes stick and look tape or hard mount". But is it really the same model? May be 3-pack does include the tape, but 6-pack does not? How to tell?
OK, I bought the 6-pack - it does, in fact, has the sticky pad on each item and it sticks on the mirror just fine. The size is 3.5 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick. Why they didn't say it in description? Don't they have a measuring tape in China or they are just lazy? For all that frustration I took one star off.
Most electronic devices allow batteries to be removed with fingers without any tools. But these lights have such tight plastic battery holders, that I had to use a knife and significant force to remove the batteries and now my fingers are covered with bloody cuts and scratches. Another star off.
The lights are installed in closets and other places, where their light is not visible from outside. So, I keep forgetting to turn the lights off and have to replace the batteries almost daily. I use rechargeable batteries, which provide about 10-12 hours of light. I would like them to add a buzzer to each light, which would make a short beep every few minutes when the light is on. This would save me a lot of trouble with battery removing/recharging. Even is the light with a buzzer will cost more, I would buy it.
