Use Meguiars Solo Easy Buff W66 Backing Plate 6 Inch with Meguiars Solo wool and foam buffing pads to get professional quality results with Meguiars Solo Cut & Polish Cream #86. The "Easy Buff" Rotary Backing Plate is technology borrowed from Meguiars OEM Polishing System used at the car factories. As an alternative to a hard backing plate, this cushioned backing plate distributes pressure for smoother buffing and minimizing swirls. The combination of this backing plate, the specially engineered buffing pads, and the Cut & Polish Cream all work synergistically to produce swirl-free, world class results. Meguiars Solo Easy Buff W66 Rotary 6 Inch Backing Plate has a thick layer of foam between the Velcro brand fasteners and the hard plastic base.
