 well constructed but difficult to use September 8, 2008
product is very well constructed of quality materials, BUT it is impossible to use since you have to turn the handle mechanically as you attempt to center it where the hair needs to be removed. I am sure the device lasts forever since it is impossible to use!
 Hurts and ineffective September 7, 2008
I was excited about this product from all the reviews. Unfortunately it just doesn't work on my nose hairs. Plus it hurts and pulls my hair. Ouch! Not sure why my experience is so different from other people. I'm still searching for the best way to trim my nose hairs. Haven't found it yet...

This product is very durable and works very well. I know my husband will be using it for years. My only criticism is that it has a lousy plastic case that it came in--its a tube with a plastic lid. This is a small product and I am concerned that it will get lost somewhere. A nice case or leather holder would make it easier to keep track of it and would preserve it better. Other than that, it is terrific and a great value.

I've gone through various nose hair trimmers and none come close to the Groom Mate. It is extremely well made and I believe that it will last me a lifetime assuming I don't lose it. Best part: no more batteries, no fiddling with fragile nose hair trimmers that break so easily, no pulling or tearing hairs and no pain whatsoever.
