Continuing use July 20, 2008 I have used this product for some time and enjoy not having to dry the car! Water spots are a thing of the past, IF you use the full system.
Filter need to be replaced after 2 car washes. July 12, 2007 Yes, the spot free works. BUT my new filter turned brown (which is the color that indicates the filter needs replacing) in just 2 car washes. The car is an Ford Expedition, meaning BIG, but two washes on one filter? In my view, too expensive for the benefit.
Mr. Clean AutoDry Refill Filter July 9, 2007 These products work just as advertised. The water just sheets off the car after washing, leaving a beautiful shine.
Adds 50 cents a wash for a spot free dry June 25, 2007 These can be had for about five bucks at the local retail store. The Mr. Clean Auto Dry system works wonders if you have hard water from your garden hose that leaves spots on your cars. I live in an area with very hard water, and if I don't thoroughly dry my car immediately after every wash I will have hard water stains until I polish it.
The Mr. Clean Auto Dry system makes it so I have no water spots on the car, and sometimes a few very faint spots on the windows without any drying. So for 50 cents a wash and I don't have to dry my car, I am getting a great deal. I am very pleased with the results, the negative comments seem to be from people that aren't using the product correctly, or don't need to because they don't have hard water. If you have hard water, a product like this is a must.
Mr. Not-so Clean June 8, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
As the cleaning step in the Mr. Clean AutoDry System, this car soap was no more effective than plain water. Better to get regular car wash detergent, mix it in a bucket, and sponge the car down. No shortcuts with this product.
