Two different special polishes can be used to eliminate both slight and deep scratches. Simply apply the paste and polish. Through the superior action of QUIXX the paint finish shines with a new lustre. This offers an added bonus in maintaining the value of your car, motorcycle, caravan or boat, etc. Youll be amazed! 7-piece set comprising two tubes scratch remover, one polishing cloth, and four strips of special sandpaper. Instructions Suitable for all paint finishes (incl. metallic). Step 1: Apply Quixx Polish (No. 1) to the scratched area and, applying pressure and a circular motion, use a clean cotton cloth to polish the area for about 1-2 minutes. Step 2: Use QUIXX Finish (No. 2) to polish to a shine. For deep scratches, first wet-sand with the enclosed special sandpaper (grain 2500). Do not expose primer! Follow steps 1 and 2. Suitable for polishing machines.

not what I hoped March 29, 2008 Unless you want to remove swirl marks from a car wash, don't expect much. I have a black car with fine scratches that were not deep. This product had very little effect and I was disappointed with the result. It did not work as advertised.

May be ok on very very minor scratches. Will not help on a scratch down to primer. If you have a significant scratch that requires touch-up paint, the included tiny pieces of 3000 grit sandpaper and polishing material will not help. Go the auto supply store and buy some proper supplies.
Couldn't have asked for a better product February 12, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this scratch remover to take care of several scratches and scuff marks on my doors and fenders. The product has easy to follow instructions and gave me no problems. I was a little nervous about using the sandpaper, but after I was done the difference was amazing. This product works far better than any of those large industrial size scratch removers. It may be a small package but I couldn't be happier with the results.
Remove fine scratch beautifully, only improve deep scratch November 6, 2007 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
I decided to order this product base on the reviews i read also did some extra study on similar products. This is probably my best bet for it's price.
I have rather deep key mark (show primer) and a few fine scratch on my new blue car. As it said on the directions if you have deep scratch you need to get the match paint for it. so we went over to Wal mart and get one of those 5 dollar repair paint that come with a small brush and ball pen in same bottle (they come in several known brand and color such as TOYOTA , FORD, GM, etc;) I also saw the same products at Kregen too.
First i wipe clean the surface with wet cloth and then very lightly wet sand to smooth it up with the sand paper provided it in the kit then wipe clean, The sand paper is 3000 grid which is very fine and did a good job for it's purpose. I like it much better than the 2000 grid one they sell at automotive store. Only if they give you more than just a few strips i will be alot happier.
Then I use the brush side to paint on the bigger scratch area and use the ball pen for finer line. Let dry for few hours. And to make sure i really fill those scratch well I re apply the paint and let dry.
After the paint completely dry use wet sand to very gently sand the excess paint off ( this part scared me the most because they said it very clear not to expose the primer, So take your time and be very gentle). When you are done with sanding the scratch should feel very smooth to the touch. It still look very visible but after i use cream no. 1 (buff hard) it look better so i decided to do it again twice. After 3 applications of cream no.1 and finished it with cream no.2 the scratch almost disappear. I still can see it a little but i know where to look for it. It does not take away the scratch completely but did improve and lighten alot. I think it's reasonable enough for it's price. If they sell this for 100 dollar then i will expect much better result.
As for fine scratch i have to admit that it works like magic. All i need to do is clean the surface, apply cream no.1 and make sure to let it sit then buff buff buff hard! , Cream no.2 give it super glossy shine. The scratch are completely gone. I was very happy with the result.
Not what I expected November 6, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I tried the Quixx Scratch Remover for automobiles. I have a silver car and it did not remove the scratches as I expected. But on my Dark Gray car it did an acceptable job. Because of the silver car results, I can not endorse this product.
