Easy Installation - Bright Lights - PIAA STYLE August 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Installed these lights on a 2008 Tundra Crewmax. Very easy installation, but took a while since I wanted to add the stealth look to it by adding split loom tubing. The directions are very simple because the lights are very simple. One word of caution that isn't explained in the description - the two marker lights are exactly that - marker lights that you can connect to ANY positive voltage (marker lights, parking lights, turn signals, and even the reverse lights if you want to get crazy). before the purchase, I thought the switch might control them, but it does not. The large PIAA switch only controls the yellow and white lights. The lights are very bright and distinctive. The switch follows the PIAA convention of red=on, green=off, so it might take some getting used to. The lights are very expensive and disctintive and seems very vulnerable to thieves since the pivoting bracket can be removed with a hex wrench. Your only justice might be that the thief's hands get burned from the very hot housing.
