Product Description
These reusable K&N Filtercharger air filters outflow any other filter--up to 900 cfm--for power gains of up to 15 HP. They use a surgical cotton fabric soaked in oil as their tack barrier. Sandwiched between an aluminum screen wire, the holes in the cotton catch tumbling air and straighten it out. Since air moving in a straight line flows faster, the filter actually improves airflow. They can be covered by up to 1/4 in. of debris before air restriction makes cleaning necessary. The filters come pre-oiled, and many are available as a direct fit for your application.

 It does suck air in July 2, 2008
I drove about 500 mi on a new filter. Based on couple of refills mileage did not improve. It is impossible to tell if engine has more power or not. I would like to believe that it does, but it could be me whipping more RPM's from the engine. Well, I hope that I don't need to wash the filter for 50K miles and it's a good thing.

I bought the K&N Filter for my car and I immediately noticed faster response in acceleration and horsepower. I work at autozone, so I'm quite familiar with these kind of filters. People who are looking for a quick way to get more HP and speed, should definitely get one of these filters in their cars, trucks, vans, crossovers, or SUVs.

completely satisfied, and good to know i dont have to change this filter as often. Has made the acceleration a tad more perky but im hoping for better mileage but havent taken any long trips , and the local mileage has held steady, same as new paper filters as far as i can tell
