JBA Shorty Headers give you the performance gain of a traditional header, while bolting on like a stock replacement. Smog legal, the JBA Shorty Headers exclusively feature the Firecone, a unique device that gives the effect of a longer collector. The head and collector flanges are plasma cut from 3/8 steel plate so they wont bend or warp from heat exposure therefore no leaks. A thick steel collector dome provides a positive seal while preventing fatigue failure. The primary tubes are made from thick 14-gauge mandrel-bent steel. To reduce corrosion, the standard finish is either chrome or stainless depending on model.
