Frustrating Ipod Controls February 25, 2008 Hooking your ipod up to this receiver is a great feature. Navigating to music on your ipod however is not. It would probably take me fifteen minutes to scroll through all the artists on my 60gb ipod. So basically you will only use your ipod for listening to playlists and shuffling through all songs. Sound using the PANASONIC CA-DC300U DIRECT CABLE(not included costs ~$30-40) is a lot cleaner than using a standard aux cable. I recommend this receiver.
Good overall, great bargain December 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This radio is good is all ways, not great. Amp power is good, sound is better than most factory systems but not up to the higher end stuff. Expandability is good, if you can source the proper cables etc. it was a feat to find the right cable and adaptor for xm use as the one listed in the manual is not available widely and is not the most current. The power button is way to bright, very obtrusive at night. Amp onboard is powerfull and clean, the eq setting are ok. It's fairly basic but often basic=reliable? So far so good, and for the money it's great.
