This works fine in my 2000 Nissan Sentra, with a nuvi 200. I had previously tried a different vent mount that had springs, but the arms weren't long enough to fit on my vent; this one, however, fits fine. It's also pretty easy to remove this mount; see Arkon's website for the instruction sheet that shows how it works. One drawback is that with this mount installed you might not be able to move the vent to blow air in the direction you want, but I expect that would apply to all vent mounts in general. I prefer the location this puts the GPS at, compared to other options like windshield/dashboard mounts, and I don't want to mess with suction cups.

This little gizmo works great. No issues. Simple, and effective. It is nice not have that suction cup stuck to the window, or the ring that it leaves. Minor complaint.... it is not the easiest thing to remove from the vents for the frequent traveler/car hopper, but for the money, you can't beat it!
Ideal mount for my 2002 Acura TL June 23, 2008
This mount works great in my 2002 Acura TL. It clips on to a non-adjustable section of the center vent, right above the clock. It does not vibrate at all, and the movable arm on the bottom rests against the dash right below the vent, keeping this stable for using the touchscreen. It looks great, and works great. It does block the clock, but I don't really use it much anyway.
I can't see any danger of breaking the vent - it's much stronger than this device, and you'd have to work at it to do any damage; I think the mount would break apart before the vent would.
Great little mount June 11, 2008
This is a great gps mount. It fits the nuvi 760 perfectly. It snaps to the vent securely and I like where the gps is positioned a lot better than if I was using the windshield or dashboard mount. It's closer to me when I'm driving so I can see the upcoming street names easier. I highly recommend this mount.

Looking for a great mount that doesn't leave a mark on your windshield, then this is it. The ball mount is nice and tight. The arms that attach to the vent are nice and tight too. Keeps GPS secure. I would have given this 5 stars, but the arms were very tight going into the mount itself, the felt like they were going to break. I had a similar mount for an XM-radio, and they were really loose. I would have like to see something a little looser, but that's my preference/opinion. I'll probably order another one for wifes car. Over all pretty good product and only complaint is very very minor.
