4 out of 5 stars Best bang for your buck!   November 25, 2007

These are every bit as bright and maybe brighter than the $100 PIAA lights I took off. But remember, these are SPOTS, not floods. If you're looking for nice tight laser-beam patterns, these are for you. I wish they would've provided a little longer flexible metal shield on the wires(comes with about 8")for mounting away from the body on a brush guard like I did, but there's still enough to make it to and through the grille.
The plastic covers fit WAY too tight. It took two of us to put one on even after softening it in hot water. But if you're like me, you don't want to be pulling over every time you want to use the lights anyway. And for only 21 bucks, I'll risk taking a rock every now and then.
But check your local laws about covering off-road lights.
All in all it's a great buy. They look good and the thick rubber mounts are immune to vibration (and the car wash).
They don't come with any extras, so you'll need a good 30A relay, in-line 20A fuse, and a switch. All available at Radio Shack.
